Tracking gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National park would be a great Idea before we re-experience it in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. But if your budget does not allow, we’ll take it straight to Uganda and continue into Queen Elizabeth NP to view the wildlife drama in the Savannah plains and on the shores of Kazinga channel.
We later take you to the source of the mighty Nile river to get a taste of where the Nile starts its long journey to Egypt and experience the adrenaline this imperial city has to offer. You got your hands full on this one but we make sure you have ample time to relax, slow down and enjoy the breeze of the African air on your face.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Hotel
Meet and greet at Kinobe Airport by our Guide who will lovingly welcome you and transfer you to a hotel in Kigali. Depending on the time of arrival, if your flight arrives in the morning, you go to get to know Kigali; you can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide. Places to visit include the genocide Memorial site, the markets, Franco-Rwanda Cultural centre.
You’ll sign into Hotel Paradis Malahide.
Meals — Dinner
Day 2: Kigali – Lake Kivu
After breakfast, embark on the journey south west towards Lake Kivu one of the African Great Lakes. This lake lies on the Border between the Democratic Republic of the Cong and Rwanda in the Albertine Rift. Sign into your lodge booking and participate in activities like coffee tour around Lake Kivu, Orphanage visit – Gisenyi.
Return for Lunch and in evening Hike around Lake Kivu.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest:
After breakfast, start on the journey that will see you cross the border over to Uganda into Bwindi Impenetrable forest for the Batwa trail. You will use the Cyanika border driving through the Kigezi Highlands a place formally known as the “Switzerland” of Africa with lunch en- routes. Catching your eye again are the beautiful terraced hillsides with the winding roads and the distant view of the volcanoes and lakes.
Sign into Silver Back Lodge where you’ll be spending two nights.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi — Batwa Trail:
After an early morning breakfast with packaged lunch, your driver – guide will drive you to the park headquarters which are the starting point of the gorilla tracking where you will be briefed by the Park Rangers about tracking these apes in the forest. The rain forest is dense with numerous animal trails. The excitement of spending time by observing these apes is a memorable experience and one of the most important activities of your Uganda Wildlife Safari. Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with one another.
After lunch, set out to the forest to trail the footsteps of the Batwa who were the first people to live in the forest? These people lived, hunted and gathered in the forest which provided them everything? Learn as they guide you through the forest, their dance, hear them sing and storytelling of their traditional way of farming. Learn how they handle the bow, how they gather honey and picking herbal medicine from roots and leaves a traditional way of treating themselves. Go for a Nature walk which unveils you to the locals living close to Bwindi impenetrable forest plus their culture. Learn how they make their art crafts, dances, traditional cooking, the brewing and much more.
Return to your lodge for the night.

Day 5: Bwindi — Queen Elizabeth National Park — Game Drive
After an early breakfast, embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National park, a home to the tree climbing lions. Go for a game drive to the Isasha sector to look for the tree climbing lions. Also other animals can be spotted like the Elephant, giraffes, Uganda kobs, and topi among others.
You’ll be staying at Queen Elizabeth Parkview Tourist Lodge.

Day 6: Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth NP
Relax at your lodge in the morning hourse, take a walk around the Lodges, talk to some locals or opt-in for a another morning game drive. After lunch and in the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the Kazinga channel to sight on aquatic life like the hippos very abundant, crocodiles and the bird life include collared pratincole, Black bee-eater, Broad- billed roller among others.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth NP — Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, embark on the journey to Kampala with a short game drive as we move out of the park. On the way, be sure to look out for the serene vegetations, homesteads some of which are designed in an African style of building and more. Stop in Mbarara town for lunch after proceed to the equator for photograph. From here you will have a stop at Mpambile village for a traditional souvenir if you wish.
Check into Forest Cottages for the night.

Day 8: Kampala – Jinja, Source of The Nile — Kampala
After breakfast, start on the journey to jinja and adventure city. On the way be sure to small towns like Mukono town designed in an African traditional city, Namanve industrial area the first of its kind, roadside markets like Namawojjoro market where you can buy a snack to feel an African test of food among others. You will go through Mabira forest for a cool breeze as you continue to the adventure city.
Go for a boat ride along the Nile River to explore its beauty, bird spices like the sun bird as well as watching the local fishermen fish in this beautiful water. The boat will take you to the source of the Nile. Return for lunch. In late afternoon go for Big Game Mini Golf which takes you through the African safari themed crazy Golf course with life- sized statues of the Big- 5.
Return to Kampala and check into Forest Cottage.

Day 9: Kampala — Entebbe — Departure
Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home. A simple tour to the Buganda road cultural village as you proceeds to the Airport.
