• Kibale Forest National Park                                                                                                                                                  This forest is also known as the primates capital and is home to the chimpanzees that share 98% of human genes. Kibale forest is very good for chimpanzee tracking trips however chimpanzees can also be sighted in Budongo forest in Murchison Falls National Park and also in Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
• Queen Elizabeth National Park
  This is one of Uganda’s most scenic and visited game reserve due to its massive variety of habitats including the savanna grassland mixed with various kinds of trees, grassy plains, volcanic cones and deep craters. Queen Elizabeth National Park is an ideal place to sight large game, go bird watching on the Kazinga channel, and track chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge as well as the famous tree climbing lions in Ishasha.
• Kidepo Valley National Park
  This park is the most remote in Uganda but is a true gem of Uganda’s nature with great savanna landscapes and rising mountains in its background. The population of visitors is not high with the opportunity of being the only visitor in the park with no crowding like the case in the other parks.
• Lake Mburo national park.
  This is one of Uganda’s smallest wildlife parks and the closet from Kampala with a very rich wildlife and birdlife. Various bird life flourishes here with more than 315 different bird species and 68 different mammals like impala, leopards, buffalo, jackals and hyenas and the only place to see zebras.
• Mountain Rwenzori National Park
  This impressive range of mountains are home to the highest snow capped peak Margherita standing at a height of 5109 m and stretching to about 110 km in length. This UNESCO world heritage site with amazing ranges of landscapes, from the bizarre afro-alpine moorland to the thick tropical rainforest on the lower slopes and lastly the glaciers at the highest reaches.
• Mountain Elgon National Park
  Elgon has a caldera with the largest surface area any extinct volcano in the world has covering over 40 sq km at its top.
• Semuliki National Park
  The parks spans to a 220 sq km of valley floor that constitute a link between the heights of the huge steaming jungles of central Africa and East Africa with intriguing wildlife as well as sulphur hot springs.
• Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
  This Park is one of the habitats of the endangered mountain gorillas alongside other animals including the golden monkeys with spectacular mountain climbing opportunities with amazing views at the top.
• Sipi Falls                                                                                                                                                                                          Sipi falls has a beautiful chain of waterfalls sitting in the foothills of Mt. Elgon as they overlook a vast plain. The falls have three levels all with unspeakable beauty with the 95m main drop attracting more visitors .
• Lake Bunyonyi
  This is one of the deepest lakes with 29 islands and most of these are inhabited and terraced for agriculture.
• Lake Mutanda
